About every other night my sweet tooth starts aching. I crave ice cream or cake or the Girl Scout cookies I have stashed away for post-Dukan life. (So the little girl down the block sold me the cookies before our diet and she delivered after we started... I am NOT going to just throw them out!)
One delicious way I have satisfied my sweet cravings is with this hot chocolate recipe. My husband is also a fan. We classed it up by putting frothed milk on top. Enjoy!
Ingredients (one cup)
- 1 1/2 c non-fat milk
- 1 1/2 tbsp sweetener
- 1 1/2 tbsp fat free cocoa
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Dash of salt
Combine all ingredients in small saucepan and heat on medium. Stir with whisk every couple of minutes until slightly boiling, then continually whisk until smooth. Take off heat and pour into cup. Drink with delight!
