These pancakes are BY FAR my favorite way to get my daily oat bran. They are easy enough to prepare and cook, and with some sugar-free syrup, they are very tasty. Hope you like them too!
- 2 tbsp oat bran
- 1 tbsp powdered or dried nonfat milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sweetener
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly (I use a whisk). Heat a pan or flat griddle up to medium heat and spray with Pam (optional). Pour mixture to create one large or two small pancakes. Flip when medium brown and then pull off to enjoy! Add Dukan-approved toppings if you want to jazz it up, such as sugar-free syrup or fat free cream cheese. Personally, our favorite way is alongside low-fat turkey sausage and eggs.
